ACBL continues to tweak the Masterpoint rank categories. It has recently addressed the huge points gap between Silver (1000 MPs) and Gold (2500 MPs) as well as between Gold and Diamond (5000 MPs) . Two new categories have been added:
- Ruby Life Master (1500 MPs) – at least 300 silver, red gold, or platinum points.
- Sapphire Life Master (3500 MPs) – at least 700 silver, red, gold or platinum, of which at least 350 must be gold or platinum.
As a consequence, 32 Victoria area players are now Ruby Life Masters, and 9 are Sapphire Life Masters. Details can be found on our Masterpoint Milestones page.
