Masterpoint Milestones page revamped

For the past several years, we have been keeping track of Unit 431 members as they attain or surpass Lifemaster status, through monthly postings in our Masterpoint Milestones page.

However this left out the achievements of many new members as they progressed through the ranks from Junior Master on.

Starting this month we are celebrating all Masterpoint Milestones by posting the name of each new honoree (with their permission).

As a reminder, Masterpoint Milestones as well as other items of particular interest to members can be found on our website, bridgevictoria.ca under “MEMBERS” in the top menu.

DO post your convention card – it’s mandatory!
DO be ready to bid and play when it’s your turn.
DO make your bids and plays in an even tempo; avoid hesitations; be consistently deliberate in your bidding and play.
If you need to leave table momentarily, DO tell partner and opps by typing “brb” in chat window.
DO alert and announce all bids that require an action.
DO explain alert promptly and clearly when requested by opps.
DO not use chat window for game-related information (such as alerts).
DO call the director (via button) when an infraction occurs.
DO compliment partner (or opps!) on good play after the hand is finished.
DO observe the time allotted for the play of each round and be prepared to make a concerted effort to catch up if you have fallen behind, regardless of the reason for the lateness.
