ACBL Live scoring at the Spring Sectional

Results for this weekend’s Spring Sectional will be available on ACBL Live. This means you can get notification of your results on your device (phone, tablet, computer) soon after the game is completed.

To ensure you do receive them, you need to subscribe to ACBL Live (free). You only have to do it once to automatically receive notification of results whenever you participate in an ACBL-sanctioned tournament.

Here’s how to set up instant notification of your results via email or text message:

Log into your MyACBL Portal
Go to Privacy Settings (Located under “Membership”)
Change privacy preferences to SUBSCRIBE for General Email Communication and/or SUBSCRIBE for Cell Phone Text Communication

If you prefer not to subscribe, you can still access results from tournaments by going to the ACBL Live website.

DO post your convention card – it’s mandatory!
DO be ready to bid and play when it’s your turn.
DO make your bids and plays in an even tempo; avoid hesitations; be consistently deliberate in your bidding and play.
If you need to leave table momentarily, DO tell partner and opps by typing “brb” in chat window.
DO alert and announce all bids that require an action.
DO explain alert promptly and clearly when requested by opps.
DO not use chat window for game-related information (such as alerts).
DO call the director (via button) when an infraction occurs.
DO compliment partner (or opps!) on good play after the hand is finished.
DO observe the time allotted for the play of each round and be prepared to make a concerted effort to catch up if you have fallen behind, regardless of the reason for the lateness.
