Deb Wastle’s son Matthew (Mutt) passed away suddenly on Monday morning, March 29 in Calgary. An online charity game, hosted by Island Bridge Club is being held on Friday at 7 pm in his memory.

To participate, log onto BBO and go to Virtual Clubs. Select ACBL North America, then Victoria Clubs. Proceeds will go to the Calgary Food Bank. You will have the opportunity to make an additional donation.

DO post your convention card – it’s mandatory!
DO be ready to bid and play when it’s your turn.
DO make your bids and plays in an even tempo; avoid hesitations; be consistently deliberate in your bidding and play.
If you need to leave table momentarily, DO tell partner and opps by typing “brb” in chat window.
DO alert and announce all bids that require an action.
DO explain alert promptly and clearly when requested by opps.
DO not use chat window for game-related information (such as alerts).
DO call the director (via button) when an infraction occurs.
DO compliment partner (or opps!) on good play after the hand is finished.
DO observe the time allotted for the play of each round and be prepared to make a concerted effort to catch up if you have fallen behind, regardless of the reason for the lateness.
